About

Welcome to my blog.

I’m a research student looking at mood disorders related to menstruation in the 1930s. This blog is partly a place to dump interesting and sometimes relevant stuff that I may find a use for in the future, to share some of my current research and some of the books, files and papers that I come across.

The title of the blog comes from a theory proposed by Claude Dagmar Daly in the 1920s and 30s who suggested that menstruation was linked with the Oedipus complex. It seemed fitting, especially in the context of my research.
